1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Eternal Life Word Centre ("ELWC") mobile application and website (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Eternal Life Word Centre. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Use of Services
Eligibility:** You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.
Account Registration:** You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
License:** We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose

4. User Content
Your Content:** You retain ownership of content you post (comments, testimonies, profile information). By posting content, you grant ELWC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content in connection with the Services.
Content Moderation:** We reserve the right to review, approve, or remove any user content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines. We are not responsible for user-generated content.
Responsibility:** You are solely responsible for your content and any consequences of posting it. You represent that you have all necessary rights to post your content.
5. Intellectual Property
Our Content:** All devotionals, Bible study materials, graphics, logos, and other content provided by ELWC are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Bible Texts:** Bible translations used in the Services are provided under license from their respective publishers. Each version has its own copyright and usage restrictions.
Trademarks:** "ELWC", "Eternal Life Word Centre", and related logos are trademarks of Eternal Life Word Centre. You may not use these without our permission.
6. Disclaimers
No Warranties:** The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
• The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Services are free of viruses or harmful components
Spiritual Content:** While we strive to provide accurate Biblical teaching, the content is for educational and devotional purposes only. We encourage you to study the Bible yourself and consult with church leaders for spiritual guidance.
Not Professional Advice:** The Services do not provide medical, legal, financial, or professional counseling advice. Seek appropriate professional help for such matters.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ELWC shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Service interruptions or data loss
- User content or actions of other users
- Third-party websites or services linked from our Services
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is less.
8. Termination
By You:** You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time.
By Us:** We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for:
• Violation of these Terms
• Harmful or inappropriate conduct
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• Discontinuation of the Services
Effect of Termination:** Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. We may delete your account and content, except as required by law or our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-Party Services
Our Services may integrate with or link to third-party services, including:
- Google Firebase for authentication and data storage
- Google Sign-In for account creation
- Bible version APIs for Scripture content
- Social media platforms for content sharing
We are not responsible for third-party services and their terms and privacy policies apply separately.
10. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution:** If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first to resolve it informally.
Governing Law:** These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.
